Do you want to strengthen your abdominal muscles, to improve your posture and avoid or relieve back muscle pain?

Learning Pilates exercises is safe and maximizes the well-being of people from all walks of life, from the recently injured to experienced athletes. Exercises are practised on the floor, paying particular attention to breathing and focusing on deep abdominal work, strengthening stabilizing muscles and joint mobility.

 

Prerequisites:

For all levels, no prerequisites are required. The instructor adapts the course to the level of the participants.

For intermediate level: have been practicing Pilates regularly for over a year and have demonstrated mastery of the basic exercises*.

*The instructor reserves the right to refuse any participant she deems unsuitable for the intermediate level.

 

Pilates with Dominique C. (all levels)

Trained at Stott Pilates, she has been practicing Pilates for over 10 years. Her classes are adapted to your goals and condition. She can use the full range of Pilates equipment or simply the floor mat, and even a chair. She pays particular attention to mobility, breathing and posture.

 

Pilates with Mélissa (all levels and intermediate)

Trained by Ann McMilan, a Pilates pioneer in Quebec, she has been practicing Pilates for 16 years and teaching it for 15. Mélissa's classes are dynamic and teach you to push your limits while respecting your abilities. Classes are held on the floor with all the Pilates accessories, and focus on strengthening the "core" muscles
