Sutton Challenge - 3rd edition
The students of Sutton School take up the Sutton Challenge!
A total of 184 students participated in the 800-meter and 1.6-kilometer run on the trails and school grounds on Friday, October 23, 2020 under a bright sun. An annual initiative of the Coop gym santé Sutton, the Défi Sutton Challenge, a popular walk and run that was supposed to take place on September 12th, had been cancelled because of the pandemic.
David Nadeau, a physical education teacher, had the brilliant idea of organizing the race on the school's beautiful grounds. The students trained for a month in the physical education class. When the big day arrived, they started in "bubble" classes throughout the day. What a joy to see these young people with red cheekbones surpassing themselves, helping and encouraging each other!
Thank you to the volunteers, to the Fondation Boulanger-Bédard who provided the ribbons and medals for participation, to the Cafetier for the delicious coffee and to Alban Houle et fils for the apples.
