To offer the population a stimulating and friendly gym that promotes the development, maintenance and improvement of physical fitness.

As a cooperative, our vision is to create, on a human scale, an open, participatory and inclusive environment that fosters social ties between members, users, staff and volunteers, all within the framework of physical activity.

The general assembly of Coop members is sovereign and determines, inter alia, the mandate it gives the administration. Each Coop member has one vote. The Board of directors comprises nine individuals elected for three-year mandates, starting at the AGM. However, the Board may fill vacancies arising during a mandate.

Becoming a member — Social share

To become a member of the Coop, an individual must purchase a $150 social share, thus becoming a life member. This share is not refundable. Social shares were used as seed money to finance the birth of the Coop. Look at the benefits for members.

Preferred shares

In July 2020, the Coop offered for sale category 1 preferred shares to members and non members alike at a unit price of 250 $, and purchasable at any time. They do not turn a non member into a member, and give no additional rights. They are not transferable, carry an annual interest rate of 3% and can be sold back to the Coop. The payment of interest and the buy back depend on the Coop’s financial position and are at the discretion of the Board.
