Nordic walking technique


Marche Nordique 'Nordic Walking' is an enhanced walking technique using
specially designed poles that is similar to cross country skiing. This outdoor activity is most ideally undertaken on flat terrain and combines cardiovascular exercise with a vigorous muscle workout of the shoulders, arms, abdomen and legs. Additional benefits are improved posture, core strengthening, and 20% more calories burned compared to normal walking.Registration for the full session of 10 classes required. Classes are on Mondays 1 to 2 p.m. A minimum of 3 participants is required for the course to take place (maximum 12 participants). Contact us to register.
